These dogs are alert, lively, and eager to please. They require daily exercise and benefit from a fenced area where they can run and chase a ball safely. They do have a strong prey drive so should not be allowed off leash in open areas.
Their high intelligence make training necessary but fun. They should be socalized from an early age and make excellent companions.
